Celina Jaitley began her career as a marketing executive in a Kolkata based mobile phone company prior she was intended to participate in a beauty contest.
In , she became the winner of the Femina Miss India beauty contest. Then after her name was proposed for the Miss Universe contest and in this contest, she finished as a fourth runner-up. In the same year, she won various other awards such as MTV's Most Wanted award, Miss Margo Beautiful Skin, and Indiatimes Surfer's Choice.
She made her acting debut through t
